retroDashboard is a deliberately small, framework-free PHP homepage inspired by iGoogle and My Yahoo! It is intended for a trusted home network and renders useful server-side HTML for browsers from the 2000s as well as modern browsers.

The dashboard is self-hosted, uses no database or application framework, and stores shared Options in a local JSON file. Browser-specific widget order is kept in a cookie.

retroDashboard requires PHP 8.4 with libxml and SimpleXML, Apache or the supplied Docker Compose environment, a writable cache directory, and outbound HTTPS access for enabled weather and RSS services.

This software and its bundled original assets are released into the Public Domain and may be used, modified, and redistributed without restriction.

When reporting a problem, include the relevant diagnostics below along with the page affected, what you expected, what happened, and clear steps to reproduce it. Include recent Apache or Docker log messages when available, but remove passwords, API keys, private hostnames, coordinates, and other personal information first.
